The Salmon House in Vancouver

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

Salmon House, VancouverPerched up on the hillside in West Vancouver, the view from The Salmon House is undeniably amazing. However, one taste of their famous alder-grilled salmon, or a sip of one of the rare BC wines and you’ll understand what makes dining at the Salmon House such a magnificent experience.

Known as ‘Vancouver’s Original Seafood Grill Restaurant’, The Salmon House dishes out inventive seafood and fine meat cuisine smoked and grilled to perfection with green alderwood achieved by grilling over an open flame. The Barbecued Salmon entrée is the all-time guest favourite and the kitchen has a hard time keeping up with the demand. The Salmon House serves wild salmon all-year round, specializing in the favoured Sockeye salmon. Aside from salmon, Chef Atkinson’s culinary crew are experts whether it be creating a delicate salad with panko crusted goat cheese that melts in your mouth or a decadent crème brulee that perfectly finishes your meal, you will always be impressed by the West Coast inspired cuisine.
