Bigger isn’t always better; however at Whistler, BC bigger really is better. The numbers do the talking when you mention Whistler skiing – 5280 feet of vertical space to ski or snowboard, the highest drop in North America, and more than 8000 acres of terrain. Whistler skiing also offers a long season, with the chair lifts running through until May, skiing in the summer on the glacier and 8 different terrain parks.

Whistler Golf Club, Arnold Palmer’s first Canadian designed course, is home to a real Whistler type of golf. You will feel it as soon as you approach the clubhouse with classic rock and roll pumping out the entrance, a guest host with a wide grin and friendly manner greets you, taking you golf clubs and introducing you to the course. Right from the start you’ll notice that a round of golf at the Whistler Golf Club is something different.
The stunning vistas, signature design and uncompromising course quality are par for the course, as they say. This distinct experience is know as “Palmer’s design, Whistler’s attitude”. Whistler Travel

At heart, The Bearfoot Bistro is a simple French bistro, with an emphasis on the quality and freshest ingredients of the season and a wine list, the result is anything but simple. The food scene in Whistler is very dynamic, as you would expect from one of North Americas top ski area, and one of the top British Columbia Vacation destinations, which will soon host the winter Olympics. To get noticed among the many restaurants in Whistler requires something special - and Bear Foot Bistro has it. With very inventive dishes served in three or five courses, it is like an avant-iron cooking fields, depending on the dinner.

Established 1990, Monk’s Grill is in a prime location of the best ski hills in North America – Whistler. Monk’s Grill was built to the specifications of the architecture with a roof garden and two beautiful courtyards mountainside heated. Because of the dual nature of the grill, a warm friendship ski bar for lunch and après-ski, plus a fine dinner in the evening, Monk’s has a chameleon like quality. It is not unusual for friends to enjoy a beer in the courtyard after the skiing and change Alberta Monk’s Prime Rib of Beef with Yorkshire pudding for dinner. British Columbia Travel
